As a proficient Desktop Support Specialist, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows and macOS operating systems. Your primary goal is to ensure seamless IT infrastructure support.

The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of hardware components, including desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals. Additionally, they will have experience with troubleshooting common issues related to these devices.

  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware-related problems with desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Update and patch software applications and security tools.

Furthermore, the successful applicant will provide technical assistance for Microsoft 365 applications, manage user accounts, groups, and permissions using Active Directory, and facilitate system upgrades and data migrations. They will also troubleshoot basic network issues and perform basic configuration and support of network devices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you must have at least one year of hands-on experience in managing and supporting IT infrastructure, including Windows and macOS environments. You should be skilled in installing, configuring, and maintaining various hardware and software components. Proficiency in troubleshooting common issues and providing technical support is essential.

A strong understanding of networking fundamentals and experience with network devices are also beneficial. Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications and Active Directory management is highly desirable. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills, is vital for success in this position.
