Job Description:

At Samhita- THCF AND Voluntary health service, we are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's or master's degree and at least two years of experience in child development and behavior. Key responsibilities include:

Assessment and Therapy: Conduct standardized tests and observations to assess children for speech, language, and communication disorders. Develop tailored treatment plans to address specific difficulties, including speech sound production, language comprehension, social communication, and fluency disorders.

Collaboration and Education: Work closely with parents, teachers, and other professionals to implement strategies that support communication development in everyday settings. Provide guidance on activities and techniques that can be used at home and in the classroom, boosting confidence and improving social interactions. Educate parents and caregivers on how to support their child's communication development. For children with severe speech and language impairments, introduce Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) tools like picture boards or communication devices to facilitate effective communication. The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
