Job Description

The Financial Reporting Manager will work closely with the Detection India Finance Controller to ensure a high-performing finance team and effective controlled environment. This role is accountable for financial accounting, financial reporting, and statutory compliance, interpreting policies, processes, and procedures globally.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely and complete month-end financial reporting, reviewing key items schedules like Accounts Payable, Bank Reconciliation Statements, accruals, and Onyx submission.
  • Manage statutory compliances, including Goods and Services Tax (GST) inward and outward reconciliations, and Withholding Tax (WHT) compliances.
  • Lead audit management, including statutory audit, tax audit, transfer pricing audit, and internal audit.
  • Oversee tax management, filing corporate tax returns, and assessments for all Detection entities.
  • Coordinate vendor payments, cash payment forecasting, and Runrate Cost sheets (Bid Approval Form) review.
  • Ensure compliance with company internal controls and approval processes.
  • Lead SAP enhancements and support organizational projects, such as system improvement.

The Individual

We seek a Chartered Accountant with 10+ years of experience, preferably from Big 4 auditing firms. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading and developing teams, working with SAP, and possessing methodical work practices, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
