Job Title: Legal Counsel

About the Role

Seeking a results-driven legal professional to oversee all legal and compliance matters for our organization. Key responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and verifying contracts and agreements, handling compliance tasks, representing the company in court proceedings, and collaborating with senior advocates and external counsel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and finalize contracts, agreements, affidavits, and applications.
  • Manage compliance-related work across corporate, real estate, and regulatory matters.
  • Represent the company in legal proceedings, hearings, and government offices when necessary.
  • Prepare and submit accurate and timely filings, petitions, and responses.
  • Maintain organized records and case files.
  • Coordinate with senior lawyers, external advisors, and consultants to ensure efficient matter management.
  • Monitor regulatory updates and keep management informed.
  • Provide strategic advice on various transactions and disputes.

Qualifications & Skills

  • LL.B. degree (LL.M. preferred but not mandatory).
  • Enrolled as an advocate with the Bar Council of India.
  • At least 3 years of experience in litigation, compliance, or corporate law (real estate expertise desirable).
  • Strong research, analysis, and writing skills.
  • Familiarity with property laws and commercial regulations.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills to collaborate with senior lawyers.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently.
