Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Synthetic Monitoring Engineer to fill this exciting opportunity. This position offers the chance to work with a global technology leader renowned for its innovative approach and commitment to excellence.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing scalable observability platforms, driving adoption of Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tooling, and integrating synthetic monitoring into modern service architectures.

  • This role involves architecting secure, resilient, and high-performing synthetic monitoring platforms across hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
  • The selected candidate will lead the adoption of Dynatrace APM, standardizing instrumentation and deployment models, and define onboarding strategies for cloud, hybrid, and edge telemetry sources.
  • Key responsibilities include integrating observability tooling, evaluating emerging technologies, and contributing to open-source or internal standards for synthetic monitoring.
  • The successful candidate will collaborate with application teams to embed synthetic monitoring into new service architectures and partner with security teams on compliance and governance related to monitoring.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience with Dynatrace and Synthetic Monitoring.
  • Strong expertise in AWS (EC2, EKS, Lambda).
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing observability solutions across cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Familiarity with other monitoring/observability tools (Catchpoint, Prometheus, Grafana) is a plus.
