Job Title: Cloud Architect

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect to join our team at Willspired Solutions Pvt Ltd. As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud strategies aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess existing infrastructure and recommend cloud solutions to enhance performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
  • Provide technical leadership in the evaluation and selection of cloud service providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Design and architect scalable, resilient, and secure cloud infrastructures.
  • Lead the design and implementation of cloud-native applications and microservices.
  • Ensure cloud architecture adheres to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with development teams to design CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment frameworks.
  • Lead cloud migration projects, including the transition of on-premises workloads to the cloud.
  • Develop migration strategies, including hybrid cloud and multi-cloud environments.
  • Oversee the deployment of cloud environments, including provisioning of infrastructure as code (IaC).
  • Implement cloud security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network security.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC 2.
  • Regularly perform cloud security audits and implement remediation measures.
  • Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and optimize for cost, scalability, and efficiency.
  • Implement robust monitoring and alerting systems for proactive issue resolution.
  • Work closely with DevOps and development teams to troubleshoot performance issues.
  • Serve as a technical advisor and mentor to engineering teams, providing guidance on cloud technologies and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software development, DevOps, and IT operations, to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and cloud strategy meetings with stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of cloud architectures, configurations, and processes.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on cloud performance, cost management, and project status to leadership.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Master's degree is a plus.
  • Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Proficiency in cloud architecture frameworks and design patterns.
  • Strong knowledge of networking, virtualization, and storage solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Expertise in cloud security practices, including IAM, encryption, and compliance standards.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and DevOps methodologies.
  • Certifications (Preferred): AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional), Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
