Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer to join our team.

  • Prepare and update 2D drawings and 3D models for piping, outfitting, and machinery systems.
  • Convert concept sketches and engineering inputs into accurate engineering drawings (GA, piping/isometric drawings, equipment foundations, etc.).
  • E nsure drawings are as per class rules, standards, and project requirements.
  • Support the preparation of material take-offs (MTOs), bill of materials (BOMs), and assembly drawings.
  • C ordinate with design engineers, naval architects, and production teams to resolve drawing-related queries.
  • R eview and check drawings for accuracy, clarity, and compliance with standards.

Requirements:

  • Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Marine Engineering / Naval Architecture.
  • 36 years of drafting/design experience in shipbuilding, offshore.
  • Proficiency in design and drafting software (AutoCAD, Cadmatic, Rhino, AVEVA or similar tools).
  • Strong understanding of requirements for ship/offshore piping, and outfitting drawings.
  • Knowledge of classification society rules and marine industry standards.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work in a team.
