Reinforcing Cybersecurity Posture:

The role of the Assistant Vice President will involve a pivotal contribution to enhancing an organisation's cybersecurity posture by overseeing Security Operations Centre activities, driving continuous improvement in threat detection and incident response.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive awareness program tailored to various internal audiences, incorporating diverse content formats.
  • Establish Standard Operating Procedures for SOC operations while refining processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Align awareness efforts with global security frameworks, regulatory requirements, and organisational security strategy.

Content Creation & Training:

  • Design engaging security-related content for emailers, videos, infographics, and e-learnings that cater to various learning styles.
  • Localise content for cultural and regional relevance across geographies.

Phishing Simulations & Metrics:

  • Conduct regular simulated phishing campaigns across business units, monitoring campaign results and implementing targeted follow-ups or remediation training.
  • Analyse campaign outcomes, identify risky user groups, and implement strategies for improved risk mitigation.

Regulatory Compliance & Audit Management:

  • Maintain compliance with evolving regulatory frameworks, ensuring SOC operations remain aligned with audit standards.
  • Lead and oversee security audits, effectively communicating findings and remediation strategies to stakeholders.

Culture Building & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Promote cyber risk awareness through collaborative engagement with business units, risk teams, HR, compliance, and IT.
  • Builddiversity and promote a network of security champions or ambassadors within the organisation.

Qualifications & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, Communications, or a related field.
  • Certifications preferred: CISM, CISA, CompTIA Security, or similar.
