Key Leadership Role

The Associate Director Information Security Engineer is a senior position requiring extensive technical expertise and comprehensive knowledge of enterprise security.

This role identifies, evaluates, and articulates business risks and develops secure architectures that effectively address those risks.

Building global consensus across lines of business by developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with stakeholders is critical.

The role leads from within, relying on influence rather than title or position.

Responsibilities include overall security strategy, assessing and addressing security risks, developing secure solutions, researching and proposing enhancements, providing guidance and mentorship, and serving as an escalation point for critical issues.

Additionally, this position involves leveraging existing tools and capabilities to develop innovative solutions to security threats, evaluating industry best practices, participating in RFI/RFP processes, and serving as a subject matter expert for security.

The Associate Director Information Security Engineer will also document and champion security engineering standards, best practices, and TTPs (tactics, techniques, and practices), and establish, maintain, and further partnerships across the enterprise.

Typically requires 15+ years of experience with large/mid-size Enterprise IT Information Security, excellent knowledge of end-user and host security controls and technologies, identity and access management, operating systems, TCP/IP, networking architectures, server virtualization platforms, cloud architectures, orchestration layers, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
