Overview

The role of a Data Governance Specialist is crucial in leading the delivery of Master Data Management capabilities across various business functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in full lifecycle management of complex cross-functional programs/projects with significant impact across multiple organizations.
  • Adopt and implement best practices across key data elements and processes.
  • Work with technology, operations, and business teams on driving data cleanup and validation efforts.
  • Identify root cause analysis, prioritization, remediation planning, and coordination of remediation activities for data issues.
  • Update system data documentation, metadata, dictionary, lineage according to established policies.
  • Resolve critical issues and provide technical resolutions.
  • Develop technologies that automate data processes.
  • Analyze current ETL processes, define and design new systems.
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL/MDM processes.
