Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role:

The organization is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to oversee and ensure the implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of the Quality Management System within our operations & labs. This role ensures compliance with ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 9001, regulatory requirements, and internal standards across all testing and inspection activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and monitor the QMS to ensure its compliance to the requirements of ISO /IEC 17025, ISO 9001 & BIS;
  • Monitor and ensure the management system is implemented in various departments and appraise the management on its effectiveness;
  • Lead quality audits (internal and external) and manage corrective/preventive actions (CAPA);
  • Registration of customer complaints and its resolution by organizing for investigation, root cause analysis;
  • Train staff on QMS requirements, quality procedures, and testing standards;
  • Conduct periodic quality checks for the tests carried out in the LAB through appropriate tools like retest, Inter-laboratory, Intra-laboratory, proficiency tests etc.;
  • Control of management system documents in the LAB;
  • Liaison with accreditation/approval/regulatory bodies regarding compliance & approval;
  • Review, approve, and issuance of all the quality management system documents;
  • Improve the management system and also identify the deviation from the management system or from procedure for performing tests and initiate the action to prevent or minimize such a deviation;
Required Skills and Qualifications:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Specialist with a strong understanding of ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 9001, and laboratory accreditation processes. The ideal candidate should have experience with auditing (internal/external) and regulatory compliance, as well as a background in Chemistry, Quality Management, or a related field.
