Job Overview:

Seeking a seasoned financial leader to oversee the accuracy and integrity of consolidated financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the preparation of consolidated financial statements, ensuring timeliness and compliance with UK GAAP.
  • Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes at group level, guaranteeing accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
  • Coordinate with entity accountants to ensure completeness and correctness of financial data prior to consolidation.
  • Oversee intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, and foreign currency translation processes.
  • Deliver high-quality management reporting packs for senior leadership.
Technical Accounting & Standards:
  • Provide technical guidance on complex accounting matters to management accountants and Finance Business Partners.
  • Maintain and update group accounting manuals and policies in line with evolving UK GAAP and regulations.
Process & Systems Improvement:
  • Recommend and implement improvements to the group consolidation and reporting processes.

As a financial leader, you will be responsible for influencing and coordinating across geographies to ensure robust financial statements.

Qualifications and Experience: Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, ACCA, or equivalent. 12-15 years in finance, with extensive experience in multi-entity group consolidation and statutory reporting.

Technical Skills: Strong consolidation skills, knowledge of intercompany processes, and elimination adjustments. Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems.
