Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to develop and implement a structured documentation framework for our network infrastructure. The primary objective is to create templates and organization for as-built diagrams, contact information, runbooks, and design guidelines that are intuitive, easy to navigate, and seamlessly integrate into our standard build process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop a structured conventions framework for documenting network details in Confluence, including site-specific as-built diagrams, contacts, and network configurations.
  • Create standardized templates for site documentation, runbooks, and design guidelines to ensure consistency and ease of access.
  • Convert existing network design data into Lucid templates aligned with the new structure.
  • Collaborate with the network team to gather data, understand site-specific details, and accurately represent the current network state.
  • Pilot the documentation process on a subset of sites, serving as an example and training model for the team to follow for remaining and new sites.
  • Develop training materials and conduct sessions to ensure smooth adoption of the new documentation structure.

Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with network documentation and designing structured documentation frameworks.
  • Experience using Confluence as a documentation platform.
  • Familiarity with Lucid chart or similar diagramming tools for network design templates.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with technical teams and gather site data.
  • Ability to create clear, consistent documentation and templates that are easy to maintain and update.
