The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee and execute ISO 27001 implementation and audit projects. This encompasses risk assessments, gap analysis, and compliance checks.

This position involves leading the execution of NIST cybersecurity frameworks for clients across various industries. Key responsibilities include providing strategic guidance on security best practices, governance, risk, and compliance initiatives.

A significant aspect of this job is performing internal audits and preparing clients for certification audits in alignment with ISO standards. The individual will also be responsible for creating and maintaining Information Security Management System (ISMS) documentation and supporting continual improvement processes.

This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and managing end-to-end client engagements. Additionally, the individual will mentor and lead a team of junior consultants; review deliverables and ensure timely project delivery.

Other key tasks include conducting security awareness sessions, training, and workshops for clients and internal stakeholders. The individual must stay updated on evolving threats, industry standards, and compliance regulations.

This position requires a strong understanding of GRC practices and cybersecurity principles. The ideal candidate should have experience with ISO 27001 implementation & auditing, NIST framework implementation and controls assessment, and auditing cloud environments across platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

The individual must hold an ISO 27001:2013/2022 Lead Auditor Certification and have prior team management or leadership experience. Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills are essential for this role.

Exposure to other frameworks and standards like SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, PCI DSS is beneficial. Experience working with clients from BFSI, IT/ITES, or Healthcare sectors is desirable. Additional certifications such as CISA, CISM, or CISSP are advantageous.
