As a Lead Security Specialist, you will play a crucial role in guiding the strategic development and execution of our Microsoft Security Go-to-Market within an aligned industry vertical.

This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and effective positioning of security solutions. To succeed in this position, you will require strong executive communication and facilitation skills, as well as experience leading workshops, building consensus, and influencing senior stakeholders.

We are seeking an experienced cybersecurity professional who can shape and execute security strategies and initiatives that drive measurable business outcomes in FinServ, Healthcare, or Retail. As a trusted security advisor, you will engage strategically with customers, provide feedback and guidance to internal teams, and contribute to internal planning and governance processes.

Please note that you must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, including roles such as senior security architect, strategist, or CISO, with deep expertise in vertical-specific requirements (e.g., HIPAA, PCI-DSS, FFIEC). Equivalent experience or a degree in cybersecurity, information systems, or a related field is also highly desirable. Advanced certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are a plus.

  • Collaborate with marketing and enablement teams to amplify thought leadership and support broader awareness
Shape and Align Security Capabilities:
  • Provide feedback and guidance to internal teams to ensure offerings align with vertical-specific security needs and regulatory requirements
  • Influence the development of new capabilities and services based on customer insights and market dynamics
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and effective positioning of security solutions
