Executive Director of Engineering

Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Executive Director of Engineering to lead our engineering efforts and drive strategic growth across all resorts. The successful candidate will possess exceptional leadership, technical, and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engineering Leadership
    • Develop and standardize engineering policies, procedures, and best practices
    • Set benchmarks and KPIs for property-level engineering teams
    • Mentor and guide engineers to achieve exceptional results
  • Maintenance & Operations
    • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure optimal system performance
    • Collaborate with resort teams to resolve issues efficiently
  • Energy & Sustainability
    • Promote energy conservation initiatives to reduce consumption and costs
    • Implement sustainable practices aligned with global hospitality standards
  • Compliance & Safety
    • Ensure regulatory compliance across all properties, minimizing risks and fines
    • Audit and mitigate potential hazards, fostering a safe work environment
  • Budgeting & Financial Management
    • Manage annual engineering budgets, optimizing expenditures for maximum ROI
    • Approve expenditures for maintenance and capital projects, aligning with business objectives

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering
  • Advanced certifications in facility or energy management preferred
  • 15+ years of experience in hospitality engineering, with 5+ years in senior leadership roles
