Direct Taxation Professional

We are seeking a seasoned Direct Tax professional to assume key roles at our organization in India.

  • Drafting submissions for faceless assessments and appeal proceedings, penalty submissions for penalty proceedings, etc.
  • Representing before assessing officers and various authorities for assessment and appeal proceedings.
  • Preparing, vetting, and filing returns of income and TDS returns for individuals, partnership firms, HUF, companies, etc.
Responsibilities
  1. Brief partners and managers on appeals and tribunal matters.
  2. Preparing and drafting submissions and paper books for appellate authorities.
  3. Conducting thorough research on technical and legal issues in appeals matters.
Tax Advisory Services
  • Providing advisory services on domestic/international taxation.
  • Preparing form 15 CA/CB for clients.
  • Advisory and planning on tax structures and evaluating taxability.
Other Responsibilities
  • Supporting partners and managers in day-to-day assignments.
  • Contributing to business development efforts.
  • Assisting with client queries and resolving issues.
  • Reviewing tax audit reports and ensuring compliance.
  • Staying updated on the latest tax laws, regulations, and industry developments.
Requirements
  • 8-10+ years of experience in Direct Taxation.
  • Excellent knowledge of Indian Direct Tax Laws and government departments.
  • Ability to navigate frequent changes in tax laws and regulations.
  • Experience with complex tax assessments and litigations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Working presentation skills.
