Financial Operations Specialist

Job Description:

This role is responsible for managing and overseeing banking and finance operations. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, proactive, and willing to take on various tasks.

The position involves liaising with banks, assisting with daily cash management, producing MIS reports, obtaining tax certificates, preparing payment summaries, reviewing employee claims, managing credit cards, procuring licenses, and producing monthly payment reports for accounting.

In addition, the successful candidate will assist in executing financing deals, daily portfolio transfers, investor repayments, EMI repayments, reconcile disbursements, repayments, net cash, and third-party contracts, and prepare and record journal entries using NetSuite for a timely month-end close.

The candidate should also partner with various departments on accruals, vendor management, and contracts management, assist with timely payments of statutory dues, and help prepare and communicate timely and accurate monthly financial and management reports.

Furthermore, the Financial Operations Specialist will assist with the preparation of monthly cash projections and annual external audit, completing requested materials.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in finance or related fields
  • 1-2 years of accounting experience in a similar position
  • Experience in handling banking transactions
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Highly entrepreneurial, proactive, and willing to get hands dirty
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Good grammar, spelling, and punctuation
  • Driven by data and highly analytical, good understanding of Excel preferred
