Job Title: Planning Engineer

Project Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Project Planner to join our team. As a key member of our project management group, the successful candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and tracking projects from inception to completion.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and market rates, as well as hands-on experience with estimation software and MS Excel. Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills are essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for project planning, scheduling, and tracking to ensure timely completion.
  • Align drawings, materials, manpower, and contractors with schedule baselines and milestones.
  • Evaluate vendor quotations, prepare cost comparisons, and support procurement negotiations.
  • Maintain project budgets, update forecasts based on scope changes, and maintain inflation-adjusted cost databases.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering with at least 5 years of experience in project planning and estimation.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and market rates.
  • Hands-on experience with estimation software and MS Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
