Job Opportunity: Credit Risk Specialist

Overview of the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and meticulous credit risk specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating the financial health of new and existing customers, identifying risk levels, and providing actionable recommendations to support sound credit decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the financial health of clients to determine creditworthiness, employing strong analytical skills with a keen eye for accuracy in financial data and documentation.
  • Review and process credit files within defined timelines, ensuring timely renewal of credit files and preparing documents in advance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, banks, and internal teams, supporting the achievement of department-level targets and contributing to overall business goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Due Diligence & Attention to Detail:
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for accuracy in financial data and documentation.
Industry Knowledge:
  • Ability to analyze credit for companies across multiple sectors.
Multitasking Ability:
  • Capable of handling multiple client accounts simultaneously and managing priorities effectively.
Technical Proficiency:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial software tools for analysis, reporting, and modeling.
