Expert Tax Professional
The role of a Tax Specialist involves preparing and submitting tax-related documents, including tax audits and income tax returns. This position requires an in-depth understanding of Indian tax laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing tax audit reports and income tax returns based on detailed analysis of tax laws and regulations.
- Responding to notices from the assessing officer and overseas tax authorities, requiring research and legal expertise.
- Providing consultancy on TDS applicability and withholding tax implications for international payments made by Indian entities.
- Analysing tax implications of employee incentives and advising internal stakeholders on tax-effective structures.
- Staying updated on tax reforms in India and communicating changes to team members and superiors.
- Liaising with external and internal stakeholders to represent the organization externally on tax-related matters.
- Identifying potential tax risks and suggesting strategies to mitigate them.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Indian tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex tax concepts effectively.
- Experience with tax software and tools.
