Strategic Communications Specialist

As a Public Relations Lead, you will develop and oversee strategic initiatives to enhance the school's reputation and visibility. You will lead media relations, manage public communications, and drive PR campaigns to promote school events and achievements. The role requires strong leadership in managing media inquiries, coordinating high-profile events, and overseeing all PR activities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute public relations strategies to elevate the school's brand and visibility.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets.
- Oversee the creation and distribution of press releases, articles, and promotional materials for key school events and accomplishments.
- Monitor media coverage and manage social media platforms to maintain a positive public image.
- Organize, lead, and coordinate public relations events and campaigns.
Requirements:
- A proven track record of managing successful PR campaigns and media relationships.
- Strong media relations and networking capabilities.
- Creative and adaptable with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
Education & Experience:
A Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field is required. Preferred candidates will have a Master's degree. With at least 5 years of experience in public relations and media.
