About this role

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Affairs Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing our communication with the public, media, and institutions/agencies, while supporting policy initiatives.

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Delhi for a Public Affairs Specialist. You will design, execute, and evaluate communication programs and public information campaigns that advance agency goals and public understanding.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and executing strategic communication plans to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Serving as the main contact for media inquiries and preparing press releases.
  • Representing the organization at institutions, policy makers, civic, and community meetings.
  • Providing advice on policy formulation and assessing potential public reactions to proposed actions.
  • Preparing newsletters, brochures, presentations, social media materials, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conducting research, analyzing public opinion and regulatory trends, and preparing impact assessments and recommendations for senior leaders.
  • Organizing outreach activities, educational initiatives, facility tours, public events, and emergency preparedness communications.

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent written and verbal communication skills, strategic thinking, and advocacy skills to drive organizational interests in complex stakeholder environments.

You will also require project management and event coordination abilities for public outreach and educational programming.

An MBA/Management in Public Affairs or related educational experience/certifications is highly desirable.
