Job Title: Mechanical Transport Specialist

Job Description:

As a Mechanical Transport Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the daily maintenance and repair of airport ground vehicles, baggage handling systems, runway removal machines, and other mechanical transport assets to ensure they operate safely and reliably.

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including checking and replacing fluids, inspecting mechanical components, and addressing wear and tear.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues using specialized diagnostic tools and conduct repairs on components as needed.
  • Conduct daily inspections of all ground vehicles to identify any immediate issues that might affect their performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
  • Certifications in automotive or mechanical maintenance, such as ASE certification.
  • At least 5-7 years of hands-on experience in mechanical or automotive maintenance, ideally with experience in airport ground support equipment or heavy vehicles.
  • Familiarity with airport operational standards and compliance regulations is an advantage.
