Job Overview

The Assistant Manager role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of kitchen utility functions and staff management. Key responsibilities include dish room operations, night cleaning, back dock maintenance, banquet plating, and food service coordination.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily kitchen operations, including supply ordering and inventory control.
  • Schedule events, programs, and activities, as well as oversee staff work assignments.
  • Monitor the receipt and maintenance of materials and supplies.
  • Conduct regular inventories of china, glassware, and silverware.
  • Control food, equipment, smallware, and liquor inventories, reporting shortages to designated personnel.
  • Investigate employee accidents and ensure timely follow-up.
Key Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Four years of experience in procurement, food and beverage, culinary arts, or a related field.
  • Alternatively, two-year degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related major, with two years of experience in procurement, food and beverage, culinary arts, or a related field.
