Senior Enterprise Middleware Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Middleware Administrator to oversee and maintain our middleware applications.

  • Install, configure, and manage WebLogic, Apache, and Tomcat servers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to middleware applications.
  • Monitor the performance of middleware platforms
  • Perform upgrades, patches, and migrations as necessary

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and a strong understanding of DevOps practices.

Key responsibilities:

Middleware

Installation, Configuration, and Management

Install, configure, and manage WebLogic, Apache, and Tomcat servers to ensure high-performance and reliability.

Troubleshooting and Resolution

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to middleware applications, including errors, bugs, and performance degradation.

Performance Monitoring

Monitor the performance of middleware platforms, including server load, response times, and error rates.

Patching and Upgrades

Perform upgrades, patches, and migrations as necessary to ensure middleware applications remain up-to-date and secure.

Cloud

AWS Experience

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, etc.

Cloud Operational Support

Manage AWS services, including configuring security groups, routes tables, and monitoring performance metrics.

DevOps

CI/CD Pipelines

Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for middleware applications to automate testing, deployment, and monitoring.

Docker and Terraform

Working knowledge of Docker and Terraform scripting is required to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.

Scripting

Scripting Languages

Good knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python) is required to automate tasks and workflows.

Automation Experience

Experience with automation tools, such as Ansible or Puppet, is a plus.

Database Knowledge

DBA Knowledge

Database knowledge and experience is a must to work with Oracle databases.
