Job Description
As a Global Merchandising Specialist, you will be responsible for executing the merchandising workflow to secure the best product offer. You will work collaboratively with Product (Purchasing) Merchandisers, the Buying Office/Global Purchasing Organization and other functions, sharing responsibilities and working as one team.
Responsibilities
1. Manage requests and orders, following company routines/methods and ensuring best deals and on-time delivery.
2. Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders through effective negotiation skills and efficient communication to secure the best deal and proactively follow up orders to secure the best quality and on-time delivery.
3. Understand priorities (of the Buying Office/Global Purchasing Organization) and balance their needs in the most efficient way, working in a structured manner and able to prioritize.
4. Travel biweekly to suppliers in North India to build strong relationships and ensure smooth operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong technical skills in lamps and lamp shades material, product knowledge, and technical knowledge
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
