Optimization Expert Wanted

We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in process control and optimization technologies to implement Advanced Process Control (APC) and/or optimization solutions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver the implementation of APC and optimization projects on complex industrial processes.
  2. Support product managers, data scientists, and customers to drive the adoption of AI/ML-based process optimization applications.
  3. Advise the product team on industry use cases, ideation, and feature implementation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience implementing APC and/or optimization solutions with products like AspenTech DMC3, Honeywell Forge APC (UOP APC), AVEVA APC (Advanced Process Control).
  • Expert-level knowledge of APC and optimization technologies and methodologies.
  • Experience with varied and complex industrial processes, preferably LNG, cryogenic processes, syngas, and/or fertilizer industries, gas processing, refining, and olefins.

Skills Required:

  • Knowledge of plant data-driven process modeling/analytics and its limitations.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and customer engagement skills.
  • Business Acumen and ability to influence senior-level management investment decisions.

Additional Information:

Proven ability to successfully deliver technical implementation of APC and/or optimization projects. Experience working with people in an operating plant or other operational setting is required.
