Industrial Automation Specialist

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and deploy real-time data acquisition, visualization, and reporting solutions for manufacturing operations.
  • Implement efficient industrial automation systems, integrating OT systems with enterprise IT systems.
  • Develop secure, high-performance industrial databases using SQL, historian, and timeseries databases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align system capabilities with production and business needs.
  • Provide technical leadership in digital transformation initiatives, such as Industry 4.0 smart manufacturing and predictive analytics.
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and support existing SCADA/MES deployments to ensure minimal downtime.
Requirements:
  • Expertise in Ignition SCADA Inductive Automation, including scripting module configuration and project deployment.
  • Strong background in MES functions (production tracking, OEE, downtime analysis, traceability, SPC).
  • Proficiency in database technologies (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and OT/IT integration technologies.
  • Familiarity with industrial control systems (PLC, SCADA, HMIs, plant floor connectivity).
  • Experience with cloud-based IIoT platforms (Azure IoT, AWS IoT).
  • Certifications (Ignition Gold Certified Specialist, OPC UA) are highly valued.
