Hardware Engineer

Ripik.ai is an industrial AI SAAS start-up that builds patented full stack software for automation of decision making on the factory floor. The company is backed by marquee VC funds and 25+ illustrious angels.

The Hardware Engineer will contribute to the design, development, installation, and maintenance of instrumentation, networking, and camera infrastructure systems. This involves working on CCTV hardware, networking protocols, PLCs, SCADA, and DCS systems, ensuring smooth integration, testing, commissioning, and long-term system reliability.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing instrumentation systems and hardware solutions.
  • Installing, configuring, and testing CCTV systems and associated hardware, including networking and camera infrastructure.
  • Managing and maintaining system performance, reliability, and uptime through regular monitoring and preventive maintenance.
  • Supporting installation and maintenance of networking protocols, hardware, and camera systems.
  • Configuring and optimizing TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, and other network protocols for seamless connectivity.
  • Conducting system diagnostics and performance tests, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Computer Engineering (or related field).
  • Strong hands-on experience with CCTV, camera infrastructure, and networking hardware.
  • Proficiency in TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, and networking protocols.
  • Experience in system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to install, configure, and maintain hardware and surveillance systems.
