Job Overview

Majesco is seeking a highly skilled Senior Lead Engineer to join their team.

As a key member of the engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, developing and delivering high-quality software solutions that meet customer needs.

  • Develop innovative software solutions using software engineering principles and best practices

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, with experience in cloud technologies, DevOps and Agile development methodologies.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify project scope, estimate timelines and develop architectural and design principles to improve performance, capacity and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-quality software solutions
  • Implement first-time-right quality mindset, automation and secure coding
  • Create holistic designs for development using Test-Driven Development approach
  • Work with various stakeholders to identify project scope, estimate timelines and develop approaches and designs for features/epics
  • Develop and implement architectural and design principles to improve performance, capacity and scalability
  • Take ownership while working in SAFe Agile model with other developers, BAs and architects
  • Drive conversations with internal and external stakeholders to ensure software delivered meets business objectives and highest quality
Requirements:
  • Self-driven individual with technical designs, code development and component test execution
  • Quality mindset, prefers to automate over doing same tasks manually
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to see and solve issues before they snowball into problems
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, able to stay focused on completing tasks and meeting goals within busy workspace
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Java/.Net/Oracle/SQL and web services software architecture and design
  • Experience in RESTFul Webservices & API framework, OAS3 APIs
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering; Master's degree a plus
  • Experience with Agile Development practices and processes
