This is an exciting opportunity to work as a high-level Oracle Database Administrator. Key responsibilities include the installation, configuration and upgrade of Oracle databases in various environments, as well as managing listener networks and connectivity.

Performance monitoring and optimization are also key aspects of this role, with the ideal candidate having strong SQL query tuning skills and knowledge of indexing strategies and optimizer statistics management. The successful candidate will utilize tools such as OEM and custom scripts for performance diagnostics and tuning.

In terms of backup, recovery and high availability, the candidate will design and implement solutions using RMAN and Data Guard, configure and manage standby databases for disaster readiness, and guarantee compliance with SLAs.

Data security and compliance are also crucial, with the ideal candidate having experience implementing data encryption and access control policies aligned with regulatory guidelines such as PCI-DSS and GDPR.

The role involves collaboration with developers and DevOps teams to optimize database operations and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines. Additionally, the successful candidate will develop automation scripts to streamline database administration tasks and provide 24x7 on-call support for critical issues.

Upgrades, patching and migration are also essential, with the ideal candidate planning and executing upgrades with minimal downtime, validating application compatibility post-upgrade, and performing cross-platform database migrations.

Prior experience in fintech, banking or lending domains, knowledge of GoldenGate or advanced replication solutions, and familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized database deployments are preferred skills for this role. Relevant certifications such as OCP or OCM, and Cloud certifications like OCI, AWS or Azure DB Specialist are highly valued.
