Job Title: Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

 

About the Role:

We're seeking a skilled cloud infrastructure engineer to provide technical leadership and expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-based systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or other preferred tools.
  2. Implement automation scripts in Bash, PowerShell, or Python to streamline deployment processes.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and delivery of high-quality software products.
  4. Analyze system performance and implement optimization strategies to enhance overall system reliability.
  5. Maintain close relationships with product engineering teams to deliver observable, resilient software solutions.
  6. Establish key service level indicators (SLIs), service level objectives (SLOs), and service level agreements (SLAs) across teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 2+ years' experience in platform engineering, SRE, or software engineering roles.
  • 1+ year's experience working on a SaaS platform.
  • Proficient in PHP/Laravel development.
  • Familiarity with public cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Expertise in IaC (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
  • Scripting/automation skills in Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
  • Experience with observability tools (DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana).
