Job Opportunity

As a MEP quality assurance and control engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the quality assurance and control program for all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Your goal is to ensure compliance with contract documents, industry standards, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement QA/QC Program:
    • Design and develop QA/QC procedures and protocols to achieve quality excellence in MEP systems.
    • Conduct regular site inspections to verify adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
  • Conduct Audits and Assessments:
    • Perform internal audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and optimize quality processes.
  • Report and Provide Feedback:
    • Prepare and submit regular quality control reports to project stakeholders.
    • Provide constructive feedback and recommendations for improving quality processes.
  • Coordinate and Collaborate:
    • Facilitate communication and collaboration with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to address quality control issues.
  • Monitor and Analyze Performance:
    • Track and analyze quality performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in MEP quality control or a similar role.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of MEP systems, codes, and standards (e.g., ASHRAE, NBC, NFPA, IEEE).
    • Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Certification:
    • Certification in quality control or a related field is a plus.
