Job Title:

Portfolio Manager

About the Position:
  • This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in Alternate Investment Fund regulations.
  • The ideal candidate will have a degree in Finance, CA, or MBA and be equipped to do research under SEBI AIF Regulations, FEMA, regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead compliance for all provisions of the SEBI Act, AIF Regulations/FEMA/IFSC regulations and circulars.
  • Responsible for GIFT City operation and its compliances on day-to-day working.
  • Coordinate with teams for regulatory reporting and compliances in a timely manner.
  • Manage investor queries related to compliance on a regular basis.
  • Flag issues proactively and foresee outcomes keeping in mind the operational risk framework.
  • Create efficient controls for reconciliations, Risk and compliance management, and review daily/periodical MIS and daily operations management.
  • Develop partnerships with incubators, accelerators, Angel Networks, Micro VC, etc. and support startups ecosystem.
  • Represent senior management and drive organizational culture and values among employees.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in securities market or financial products including portfolio manager, broker dealer, investment advisor, wealth manager, research analyst, or fund management.
  • Knowledge of Finance/Accounting preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint.
Key Skills:
  • Ability to manage complexity and ambiguity in day-to-day operations.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Meticulous reporting, analytical skills, and an eye for detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to think out of the box and find creative solutions.
  • Numerical skills & Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
