Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented financial professional to join our accounting team. This role involves handling end-to-end accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance for US-based clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting for multiple US clients by recording journal entries, general ledger adjustments, and ensuring timely posting of transactions.
  • Maintain accurate accounts payable and receivable records.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per US GAAP standards.
  • Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and inter-company balances.
  • Support preparation of management reports and financial dashboards for clients.
  • Assist with US tax filings, sales tax returns, and payroll processing.
  • Ensure compliance with US accounting standards and client-specific requirements.
  • Liaise with external tax consultants and auditors when required.
  • Work closely with US-based clients to understand their accounting needs and provide timely updates, reports, and financial insights.
  • Handle queries and resolve issues related to accounting, reporting, or compliance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in US Accounting / Outsourcing / KPO industry.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, US tax compliance, and payroll processing.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or similar accounting software.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to interact with US clients.
  • Flexibility to work night shifts aligned with US business hours.
