About the Role

Alp Consulting Ltd. is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Management Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain processes and experience in implementing and optimizing SAP SCM modules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure, implement, and optimize SAP SCM modules, including Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Warehouse Management (WM).
  • Translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions to enhance supply chain processes and improve inventory management.
  • Ensure seamless integration of SAP SCM modules with other SAP systems.
  • Provide functional expertise during SAP project phases, including blueprinting, configuration, testing, and go-live support.
  • Analyze and understand current business processes related to supply chain management and recommend solutions for optimization and improvement.
  • Collaborate with business users to gather and document detailed business requirements and assist in mapping them to SAP functionalities.
  • Identify areas for process automation and efficiency gains and work with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and reduce operational costs.
  • Configure SAP modules such as MM, PP, WM, and SD, ensuring they align with business requirements and best practices.
  • Develop functional specifications for custom developments and work closely with the technical team to ensure requirements are met.
  • Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure proper functionality and performance of SAP solutions.
  • Provide day-to-day support to end-users, resolving functional issues in SAP SCM modules and ensuring smooth operations.
  • Create user manuals, documentation, and training materials to enable end-users to maximize the functionality of the SAP SCM system.
  • Conduct end-user training sessions and workshops to enhance user proficiency in SAP SCM processes.
  • Actively participate in SAP implementation projects, including gathering requirements, solution design, testing, and go-live support.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Provide post-implementation support, including troubleshooting and system enhancements to improve SAP SCM processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP SCM features, updates, and industry trends to ensure the system is optimized for business needs.
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency, user experience, and system performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in SAP SCM functional roles (MM, PP, SD, WM).
  • Experience in full life-cycle SAP implementations, including gathering requirements, configuring systems, conducting testing, and supporting go-live.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes such as procurement, inventory management, production planning, and order fulfillment.
  • Proficiency in SAP SCM modules: Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), Sales and Distribution (SD), Warehouse Management (WM).
  • Ability to write functional specifications for custom developments and support ABAP teams as needed.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
