Job Title: Training and Capacity Building Expert

The organization is committed to empowering youth in urban low-income settlements by enhancing their employability skills.

The Role
  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive training strategy for multiple stakeholders, ensuring effective coordination across different teams.
  2. Collaborate with internal teams to conduct thorough needs analyses and ensure all training requirements are adequately planned and fulfilled.
  3. Implement all Training activities in the state, either in person or virtually through direct execution and training other members.
  4. Support the hiring of facilitators and training staff for projects in close collaboration with the Talent and Culture team.
  5. Design capacity-building programs for internal and on-ground teams to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  6. Work with State Trainers across geographies and attend training programs to ensure alignment with program objectives.
  7. Develop and deliver trainings that focus on strong pedagogy and engagement to achieve student outcomes.
  8. Design evaluation and assessments for trainings to measure their effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regularly write and share summary reports highlighting training lessons learned, challenges, and recommendations, including success highlights and feedback from participants.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key government stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of curriculum and training initiatives.
  • Coordinate with government departments to facilitate approvals, scheduling, and participation in training.

Requirements:

  • 4 years of relevant experience in training and capacity building.
  • Familiarity with local languages to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong problem-solving ability to address complex issues.
  • Passion for working with youth from lower economic backgrounds and in communities.
  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure high-quality training delivery.
