Job Title: Asset Management Expert

We're seeking a seasoned professional to join our team and play a key role in optimizing software asset management.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of software assets, including procurement, license management, compliance, renewals, and vendor coordination.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process software requests through digital portals.
  • Validate license availability and assign licenses via vendor platforms.
  • Initiate license harvesting or procurement as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of license assignments, usage, and compliance.
  • Track contract expirations using dashboards.
  • Coordinate with legal and procurement teams for contract reviews and renewals.
  • Ensure contracts are active and published before PR/PO creation.
  • Maintain documentation in vendor systems for audit readiness.
  • Create and manage Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and POs in enterprise resource planning systems.
  • Collaborate with centers of excellence for PR processing.
  • Track PO status and update stakeholders accordingly.
  • Use shared mailboxes for all vendor interactions.
  • Ensure all communications are tagged to relevant issue trackers.
  • Coordinate with vendors for quotes, license keys, and order confirmations.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams for software packaging and deployment.
  • Manage add-ons and plugin deployments via cloud services.
  • Conduct regular license usage reviews and reclaim unused licenses.
  • Ensure all actions are documented for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Support internal and vendor audits by providing accurate license data.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or related field.
  • 3-6 years of experience in software asset management or IT procurement.
  • Proficiency in enterprise resource planning systems, vendor platforms, and cloud services.
  • Strong understanding of software licensing models and compliance regulations.
  • Experience with vendor portals and contract management systems.
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • ITIL Foundation certification or software asset management (SAM) credentials.
  • Experience with cloud-based services, Azure Cost Management, and Microsoft Entra.
  • Familiarity with audit processes and legal contract review.
