Accounting Associate Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to manage key financial functions, ensuring compliance with standards, and providing valuable insights to support organizational growth.

As an accounting associate, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, maintaining the general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations, collaborating on budgets and forecasts, monitoring performance and recommending cost optimizations, supervising accounts payable and receivable, including vendor management and collections, and ensuring tax compliance and assisting in preparing tax returns.

The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, as well as strong communication and leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Statement Management: Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain the general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations to ensure financial data integrity.
  • Budget and Forecast Collaboration: Collaborate on budgets and forecasts to monitor performance and recommend cost optimizations.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable Supervision: Supervise accounts payable and receivable, including vendor management and collections.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure tax compliance and assist in preparing tax returns.

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CA Inter is a plus.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Zoho, Tally).
