Zonal Manager Role

The primary objective of a Zonal Manager is to act as the People Brand Ambassador and partner with business for talent management, providing regular people interventions. Key responsibilities include overseeing end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring labor law compliance across branches, and maintaining data integrity.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Talent Acquisition:
    • Manage the entire recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and offer management processes.
    • Lead hiring efforts for critical leadership roles, niche, and volume-based positions, particularly in sales.
  • Employee Engagement & Retention:
    • Conduct employee engagement surveys and implement action plans to enhance morale and reduce turnover.
    • Address employee grievances, handle relations, and disciplinary processes to maintain a positive work environment.
    • Drive initiatives to minimize attrition, especially among insurance sales staff.
    • Promote induction training for new hires to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
    • Foster Talent Retention & Employee Development initiatives to align with business objectives.
    • Identify training needs based on business and individual goals to improve skills and performance.
    • Support new hire assimilation to ensure smooth integration into the team.
    • Boost Employee Engagement initiatives to enhance productivity and job satisfaction.
  • Compliance & HR Operations:
    • Ensure timely payroll inputs, accurate HRIS data, and efficient onboarding/offboarding processes to maintain data integrity.
    • Collaborate on internal audits, risk management, and statutory filings to guarantee regulatory compliance.
    • Resolve employee disputes efficiently through Governance, Grievance Redressal & Conflict resolution.
    • Facilitate open communication and collaboration through Employee Communication & Connect.
  • Strategic HR Partnership:
    • Liaise with Function Heads and designate personnel to develop and implement strategic people initiatives driving business outcomes.
    • Collaborate with teams across all centers to achieve shared goals.
