System Management Software Engineer Position

We are currently seeking a seasoned System Management Software Engineer with extensive experience in developing and maintaining system management solutions, specifically in multi-vendor server environments. This individual will be responsible for designing, building, and integrating robust software systems using languages like C, C++, Python, and GoLang.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-quality system management software to administer servers from multiple vendors.
  • Build secure and reliable integrations with Redfish APIs to manage BMC functions seamlessly.
  • Implement efficient workflows for server onboarding, PXE booting through UEFI, and firmware/BMC upgrades.
  • Develop automation scripts for power state transitions (shutdown, restart, warm boot, cold boot).
  • Design and integrate data pipelines to capture critical server health parameters (e.g., temperature, fan speeds, power consumption, CPU/memory metrics).
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of software development experience with a focus on system management or server lifecycle software.
  • Languages: Proficiency in at least two of the following languages: C, C++, Python, and GoLang, with one being at a production level.
  • Protocols & APIs: Strong experience with Redfish API, REST APIs, and BMC interfaces.
