Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) professional to join our mission-driven team as a Facets EDI Specialist.

Job Description

As a key member of our IT team, the successful candidate will be responsible for designing and managing EDIFECS workflows, building and validating HIPAA-compliant X12 transactions, and integrating EDI solutions with FACETS modules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and manage EDIFECS workflows using SpecBuilder, TPF, XEngine, and Route Manager.
  • Build and validate HIPAA-compliant X12 transactions, including 834, 837, 835, 270/271, and 276/277.
  • Integrate EDI solutions with FACETS core modules, such as Claims, Enrollment, Billing, and Provider.
  • Support EDI interface development, partner onboarding, and transaction monitoring.
  • Perform data extraction, transformation, and reconciliation.
  • Collaborate with QA, Business Analysts, and Dev teams for successful deployments.
  • Maintain technical documentation and support Agile delivery processes.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in healthcare EDI and integration. Expertise in EDIFECS, X12 transactions, and FACETS core modules is required.

Skills and Qualifications
  • EDIFECS (SpecBuilder, XEngine, Route Manager, TPF)
  • X12 transactions (834, 837, 835, etc.)
  • FACETS core modules
  • Intermediate SQL, strong troubleshooting, and payer workflow knowledge
  • Data formats: Flat files, XML, JSON, X12
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Mirth, MuleSoft, or Boomi
  • Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid rules
  • Exposure to FACETS APIs, Web Services
  • Familiarity with Agile, HIPAA, SOC 2 frameworks
