FIX Protocol Expert

Our FIX Connectivity team is seeking an experienced FIX Protocol expert to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of electronic trading, strong analytical and logical thinking capabilities, and excellent communication and team management skills.

The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, developing and maintaining knowledge of the FIX protocol, and providing technical support and guidance to junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of FIX protocol (ver. 4.2/4.4) and related technologies
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members
  • Contribute to strategic projects, including system improvements and regulatory changes

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in electronic trading environment
  • Strong understanding of programming languages (Java, C++, C, Python), and Unix/Linux-based O/S Applications
  • Experience working with Databases, writing basic SQL queries- Oracle/SQL
  • Excellent communication and team management skills

Desired Skills:

  • Scripting knowledge in one of the following languages: Shell/Python
  • Familiarity with Algorithmic Trading
  • Previous experience with OMS/EMS, exchanges or trading firms would be a plus
