Job Summary:

The role of Medical Writer is ideal for individuals who combine medical science knowledge with writing expertise. As a key member of the team, you will create high-quality scientific materials and engage with clients and stakeholders.

  • Develop scientific content such as manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and infographics under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Liaise with pharmaceutical clients and healthcare professionals to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, authors, clients, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Write, proofread, and data-check client-ready scientific materials with attention to detail.
  2. Build professional relationships with clients and stakeholders across therapeutic areas.
  3. Attend workshops and trainings to enhance skills and contribute to organizational objectives.
  4. Collaborate with directors to develop medical communications initiatives in the digital space.
  5. Ensure all materials comply with client requirements, style guides, and templates.
  6. Contribute to making cutting-edge research accessible to specific audiences by maintaining current awareness of developments across therapeutic areas.
  7. Share best practices and client preferences within the team.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in scientific writing or relevant fields.
  • PhD/MD (Pharmacology) or PhD (Life Sciences) or PharmD with a good understanding of clinical research and medical communication.
  • Clear, concise writing style with attention to detail and excellent language skills.
  • Excellent communication and adaptation skills to different materials and target audiences.
  • Basic knowledge of biostatistics and literature reviewing and evaluation capabilities.
  • Very good working knowledge of MS Office.
