Visual Artist Job Description

The ideal candidate will create visually engaging 2D characters, backgrounds, props, clothing, and other game art assets for mobile games. They will adhere to a structured production pipeline, ensuring timely and efficient creation of production-ready art.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and illustrate 2D characters tailored for mobile gaming platforms
  • Develop visually appealing 2D backgrounds, props, clothing, and additional game art assets
  • Continuously learn and adapt to new tools, techniques, and artistic workflows
  • Maintain consistency by matching existing art styles and accurately identifying differences across visual styles
  • Integrate and test assets in Unity to ensure seamless in-game performance
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least three years of experience in the gaming or animation industry, with a strong focus on mobile game development
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop with advanced 2D character illustration skills
  • Experienced in creating 2D characters, backgrounds, props, clothing, and other visual assets for mobile games
  • Skilled in exporting and assembling images from art files according to defined technical parameters and protocols
  • Quick to learn and apply new technical skills, tools, and workflows

The ideal candidate is passionate about mobile gaming, has hands-on experience in designing and producing art specifically for mobile game titles, and is capable of matching a wide range of art styles and visually distinguishing between them for consistent and cohesive asset creation.
