Appian Database Support Specialist

Proedge Services seeks a skilled Appian and Database Support Analyst to ensure the smooth functioning of enterprise-grade applications, particularly focusing on Appian BPM and database environments.

This role requires a deep technical understanding combined with strong problem-solving and user communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting application lifecycles, managing upgrades, and ensuring service-level agreements (SLAs) are met.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring business continuity of Appian applications and related databases.
  • Providing L1, L2, and L3 support for routine issues, bug identification, environment support, and workflow fixes.
  • Managing and supporting application deployments, version upgrades, and infrastructure components.
  • Providing production support, resolving issues, and meeting defined SLAs.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders for requirement gathering and ensuring alignment with business goals.

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Expertise in Appian BPM: design, development, and support.
  • Proficiency in SQL Server database management and support.
  • Knowledge of Core and Advanced Java.
  • Experience with JIRA.
  • Strong data analysis skills.

Additionally, experience in the banking domain is highly valued. This role requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
