Senior Plant Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Plant Manager to oversee the construction of plants as per schedule and technical specifications, quality system procedures, standard engineering practice, and statutory requirements.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for controlling the execution aspect of the plant, liaising with customers, subcontractors, and other organizations on site activities, managing overall site operations, administration, and coordination of construction works. This includes certifying bills of quantity for work progress achieved by subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  1. Implementing construction management strategies to ensure project completion within scheduled timeframes
  2. Collaborating with project managers, customer representatives, and other stakeholders to resolve day-to-day problems and ensure smooth project execution
  3. Preparing and submitting reports on project progress, including weekly and monthly achievements and any site-related issues
  4. Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
  5. Coordinating with subcontractors to manage their activities and ensure timely completion of tasks
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 18 years of experience in construction management, preferably in the oil and gas or petrochemical industries
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, including planning, execution, and quality control
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues
  • A high level of integrity, accountability, and commitment to delivering results
