Job Overview

Lead a team of skilled automation testing engineers in designing and implementing robust automation frameworks, driving API automation testing strategies, and collaborating with developers and product teams to define effective test strategies.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring adherence to QA best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain robust automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and Python.
  • Drive API automation testing strategies using Python libraries or tools like Postman/RestAssured/Requests library.
  • Collaborate with developers and product teams to define and implement effective test strategies.
  • Ensure automation coverage across functional, regression, and integration testing.
  • Perform root-cause analysis of defects and ensure quick turnaround on fixes.
  • Mentor and guide junior automation engineers within the team.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 7–9 years of experience in Automation Testing, with at least 3+ years in a lead/mentorship role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Python programming language.
  • Expertise in API test automation (REST/SOAP APIs) using Python libraries or tools.
  • Solid understanding of automation frameworks (Hybrid, Data-driven, Page Object Model, BDD/TDD).
  • Experience with continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
  • Good knowledge of test management tools.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership abilities.
Nice to Have
  • Exposure to performance testing tools.
  • Experience with cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker/Kubernetes.
