**Job Opportunity for API Automation Specialist**

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead and mentor a team of Quality engineers in our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Define and report Quality Engineering metrics to assess performance and progress.
  2. Lead and mentor a team of Quality engineers to ensure they have the necessary skills and expertise to perform their duties effectively.
  3. Develop, design, and build test automation frameworks from scratch – choosing the right frameworks based on project needs and requirements.
  4. Cross-browser testing/automation using SauceLabs/ BrowserStack or similar tools.
  5. Ability to work in a flexible/fast-paced Agile environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  6. Strong communication and problem-solving skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

  • 6-10 years of overall experience in software development and quality assurance.
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in Java, Selenium is a must.
  • Minimum 2+ years of strong experience in API Automation testing using Rest Assured / any automation tool.
  • Strong expertise in building Scenarios with BDD frameworks – Cucumber, Specflow, or similar.
  • Hands-on Experience with Test automation frameworks – Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar.
  • Strong Coding skills – Java/JavaScript, Core Java, Typescript, or similar.

Technical Skills:

  • Java, Selenium, Cucumber, SQL.
  • Rest Assured, PostMan, Karate.
  • Test automation frameworks – Selenium, Playwright, Cypress.
  • SQL.
